Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 2026

Yala Community has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Protecting children is a fundamental requirement of using Yala, and these standards apply to every part of the platform — profiles, events, groups, listings, photos, messages, and any other content or communication.

Prohibited conduct

Yala Community strictly prohibits, and will not tolerate:

Enforcement

Content that violates these standards will be removed, and offending accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated. We act on every report and on any prohibited content we discover, and we may remove content or suspend accounts immediately where a child's safety is at risk.

Legal compliance and reporting to authorities

Yala Community complies with all applicable child-safety laws. We will report confirmed CSAM and other confirmed child-safety violations to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where legally required, and we will cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

How to report a child-safety concern

Every event, group post, question, marketplace listing, business, provider, and member profile on Yala has a Report option. If you see content or behavior that may endanger a child, use the in-app Report option on that content immediately — reports reach our moderation queue and are reviewed as a priority.

You can also report child-safety concerns directly by emailing our dedicated child-safety contact:

mai@yalacommunity.com

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then report to us.
